We are happy that you are considering visiting Coffeyville First United Methodist Church. Here are some Q&As you may have before attending for the first time.
- What time does the service begin? The service starts at 9:00 AM and ends around 10:15 AM
- Where is the service held? We meet in the main sanctuary. Go through the glass doors on W 10th St where you will be welcomed by our greeters and shown where to enter the sanctuary.
- What is it like? The service includes a mix of prayer, readings, singing, and a sermon. Communion is open to all attendees and occurs on the first Sunday of the month, as well as Easter and Christmas Eve.
- What about my kids? Bring them along, they are welcome. Children may join our Children's Director for a lesson and activities following the Children's message and rejoin their parents at the end of the service. There is a quieting room in the rear of the sancturary if you choose to use it, but do not feel that you must do that. We love to hear the children.
- Where do I park? Parking is available along both Elm and W 10th Streets and a parking lot is located on the SW corner of that intersection.
- What do I wear? Wear whatever is comfortable for you, whether it is jeans and a T-shirt or a suit and tie. You are welcomed either way.
- How can I get connected? Contact information for the Pastor and Church Administrative Assistant are located on the Our Team page. If you want to drop by the office, it is open 7:30-11:30 AM.
- When can I meet the Pastor? His office hours (either online or in person) are Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM in Coffeyville and Thursday 9:00 AM-12:00 PM in Edna. He is also available at 9:00 AM on the first and last Friday of each month at Hersh's Coffee Shop located at 123 W 9th St. Please let him know if you plan to visit during office hours or at Hersh's.
